My father, Ernest Stuart Zipp, who passed away end February, was one of the founding members of the Institute of Plumbing South Africa (IOPSA) and always pushed for better training in the industry.

A range of taps and mixers have found favour with developers and architects in KwaZulu-Natal. Cobra Watertech’s water-saving Cobratron range of electronic taps and Taryn range of taps and mixers have been specified in no less than four high-profile property makeovers recently. The cumulative value of these projects to Cobra, combined with a fifth featuring its Capstan and Xena ranges, was more than R1,7 million.
